Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

At Interm IT (UK) Ltd, we are proud to uphold the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our support for those who serve, those who have served, and their families. We recognise the immense value and contribution that service personnel – both regular and reservist – veterans, and military families bring to our organisation, our community, and our country.

Our Pledge

We are committed to ensuring that members of the Armed Forces Community are treated fairly and with respect. We acknowledge that those who serve or have served, and their families, should not face disadvantage compared to other citizens in accessing public and commercial services. Where appropriate, special consideration is given to those who have sacrificed the most, such as the injured and bereaved. This pledge reflects our belief in a fairer society, where the dedication and sacrifices of the Armed Forces are valued and recognised across all sectors.

How We Support the Armed Forces Community

Employment Support

  • Offer work placements and insight days for veterans seeking employment opportunities.
  • Provide insight days for older cadets exploring apprenticeships and further education pathways.
  • Consider flexible and remote-working solutions to support the mobility needs of Armed Forces families, particularly spouses and partners.

Communications, Engagement, and Outreach

  • Actively promote the Armed Forces Covenant and the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme to our staff, clients, suppliers, and the wider public.
  • Support and promote Armed Forces events, such as the Poppy Appeal and Remembrance activities.
  • Display the Covenant and Employer Recognition Scheme logos across our communications and marketing materials.
  • Appoint an internal Armed Forces Champion to advocate for and organise Armed Forces-related initiatives within the organisation.

Education

  • Raise awareness among our staff about the potential needs and wellbeing of children from service families.

Civic Responsibilities

  • Organise and participate in remembrance activities and initiatives supporting the Armed Forces Community.

Publicising Our Commitment

We are committed to making our promises visible and transparent. We will continue to update this page and our social media channels with news of our activities, and we warmly invite feedback from the Armed Forces Community and our customers on how we are doing.
